The seven chakras
Read from the bottom up. Each centre gets a page: what it governs, how a block shows up in a normal week rather than in a textbook, what excess looks like, and the practice that moves it.
Root Chakra
The first chakra is about having ground under you — money, housing, health, the sense that you are allowed to take up space.
Sacral Chakra
The second chakra is where wanting lives — appetite, creativity, sexuality, and the ability to feel something without immediately managing it.
Solar Plexus Chakra
The third chakra is the seat of will — the ability to decide, to say no, and to act on your own behalf without asking permission.
Heart Chakra
The fourth chakra is the hinge of the system — the point where the three body chakras meet the three of mind and spirit.
Throat Chakra
The fifth chakra is about saying the true thing — and it is as much about listening as about speaking.
Third Eye Chakra
The sixth chakra is about seeing what is actually there — including the parts you would rather not have noticed.
Crown Chakra
The seventh chakra is the one you cannot force — it opens through everything below it being in order, not through effort aimed at it.
Why bottom-up
Perception and meaning are difficult to hold when safety, desire and will are unstable. Every traditional system says the same thing in different words: chasing the crown while the root is in crisis is not spiritual work, it is avoidance at altitude.
