The seven symbols
Each chakra symbol is a diagram rather than a decoration. Three things are encoded: how many petals, what geometry sits inside them, and which sound belongs at the centre. Once you can read those three, the whole set becomes legible.
Root Chakra
A downward square inside the petals — matter, stability, the four directions.
Sacral Chakra
Crescent moons and circles — water, tide, cycles that return.
Solar Plexus Chakra
A downward triangle — fire pointed at action, energy converging to a point.
Heart Chakra
Two interlocking triangles — the meeting of what rises and what descends.
Throat Chakra
A circle inside a downward triangle — sound contained, then released.
Third Eye Chakra
Two petals only, and an eye between them — duality resolved into one seeing.
Crown Chakra
A thousand petals, no geometry — nothing left to structure.
Reading the geometry
Square means earth and stability. Downward triangle means fire and concentration. Crescents mean water and cycle. Interlocking triangles mean meeting. The absence of geometry, at the crown, means the diagram has run out of things to describe.
